SIX VOLUNTEERS ADD SOME ZIP!

Well done to six fearless supporters who took on the mighty Zip Slide from the Newport Transporter Bridge on Saturday, 12th July.

Once again, sponsors were being sought by these adventurers who braved the dizzying heights and the superfast slide and we'll tell you the outcome - or rather income - when it has all been accounted for.

Here we can see Chris Osborne, Shaun Young and Lyn Lewis, who all risked the abseil for us last year and gallantly gave their time again; newcomer to the charity Sue Spinner, an Occupational Health Nurse (should she know better?); star fundraiser Simon lane, our most regular outdoor participant (congratulations to you on the birth of Samuel); finally, wearing his renowned Elvis outfit over his kit, is part of the Centre's Physiotherapy Team Gary Sparks. Are those really Blue Suede Shoes, Gary?

They all did this high-adrenalin slide just for the good of our Support Group, so we thank them again for their effort.
