A SEASON OF GREAT CHEER!

The season of support from Swansea Rugby Club finished with an even bigger bang than last year. The dinner was a great success, but the auction at the end brought wonderful prices to pictures provided by club photographer Dave Dow.

This meant that the aim of chaplain Pete Orphan to raise £2,000 was obliterated yet again and they are in a position to donate over £3,200, which will be used to provide a giant screen and Wii equipment to help coordination and will be installed at the new unit in Morriston

Our thanks go yet again to our great friend Pete, to the players, management and coaches of Swansea RFC and special mention to the wife of Richard Webster, club coach, who chimed in with over £400 for the London Marathon; to Sarah Standen, who organised the Fashion Show; to quizmaster Kelfyn Davies and, not least, to all Pete’s super parishioners at Pantygwydr Baptist Church, whose support has been brilliant again. Finally, thanks to Dave Dow, who has done far more than he has been asked yet again.

We have had 2 years of support from the Whites and we owe them a huge vote of thanks for all they have done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DAVE DOW’S LOOK AT THE SENSORY EQUIPMENT

Swansea RFC official photographer and great friend of the Therapy Centre Dave Dow of Dragon Tales Rugby recently visited the Centre and was very taken by the Sensory Room, which is filled with the beautiful and useful lighting provided by our supporters at Pontlliw Football Club Cycling enthusiasts. Pictures here show this equipment to great effect. Dave had promised to return to try a 360 degree shot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ANOTHER GREAT DAY AT THE SWANSEA 10K

Her you can see some of the children, families, supporters and staff who took part in the 10K fund raiser in Swansea Bay, or the 1K Children’s run. Missing from the picture, but first back for our supporters as usual, was our star fund-raiser Simon Lane, once again turning up for the cause and once again producing a huge list of sponsors. Thanks again, Simon!
