Our Patron, Tony Clement

Children in the Swansea area who suffer from a range of  disabilities and associated medical conditions receive treatment at the Children’s Therapy Centre, based at Hill House Hospital. These children require more and more specialised equipment and resources to help them to develop to their full potential.

The Support Group raises money to provide that equipment.

WHITES PROMISE SUPPORT FOR ANOTHER YEAR

The Support Group was delighted to hear from the Rev Pete Orphan, Chaplain to Swansea Rugby Club, that the management and new Coach, former Wales international Richard Webster, have offered to retain their sponsorship of the Children’s Therapy Centre for another year. This is really great news, as their contribution for last year eventually helped us to purchase two Hippocampe all-terrain amphibious wheelchairs, for use at the seaside on loan to some of our Special Kids. Reports have been great from those who have taken up the offer.

We can’t thank them enough for this super effort. Also, although Anthony Clement has resigned from his coaching role at Swansea, the former British Lion has happily agreed to remain as our Patron and will support at every event he can. Thanks, Clem.
